Hi, my name is Beau! I was adopted as a puppy and returned several years later. When I came back, I had a very hard time trusting people. Pawmetto Lifeline is not sure what happened while I was away, but they vowed to give me as much time as I needed to find a new forever home! I`ve been working really hard on my training and socialization and the staff says I`m doing awesome. I`m a BIG boy- I weigh a whopping 95 pounds! That just means there`s a whole lot of me to love, once we get to know each other. My ideal home would be one with adults who can give me the space and time to get to know them at my pace. A great way to do that would be to play fetch with me! I love to have fun! My favorite things in life are treats and tennis balls! I love nature walks and playing tug too. I prefer you not to touch me unless it is a butt scratch on my terms.I’m a very intelligent boy who is great with a routine. I am beautiful, big and fluffy but I do not like to share my things. If you let me lay on a bed or couch, I will assume that it is all mine and won’t want to share that space. So please make sure and teach me not to get on any furniture so I don’t claim it for myself. If you are interested in adopting me, please be sure you are willing to take the time for us to get to know one another very slowly across a span of time before I would consider going home with you.If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. You are welcome to visit Pawmetto Lifeline from 12-6pm, Tuesday-Friday, to have your application reviewed and to meet your BEST MATCH animal! The Adoptions department is open from 10am-6pm on Saturdays. Meet and greets will end at 5:30pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Hello, my name is Hopper! Don`t let my name fool you. I am a spirted young husky who is full of energy. I am a true husky, and I am easily excitable. Unfortunately, my previous owner didn`t take care of me. I am HW positive and I have some health issues related to the heartworms. Hopper needs a special family who can understand his medical needs and his quirks. He can a little overstimulated and easily excited so he will do best with an owner experienced with active breeds. So he will thrive in a structured environment where he can be the only pet. Once he trusts you, Hopper is a loyal friend who will bring endless joy. Unfortunately, the vets don`t know how much longer I have to live. It could be two months or two years. All I want is a family of my own and to know what a loving home is before I cross the Rainbow Bridge.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
