Story
Hi Everyone, my name is Maverick! I came to the shelter as a stray. It's easy to see that I am an absolute heart-breaker, and I know it! My beautiful blue eyes are irresistible. I am a lovable goofball and love to play outside in the yard with my toys. I will need to go to a home without any small children.Maverick is currently looking for a home with a very special person. Someone who is well educated with large breeds and very familiar with the needs and personality of a husky/collie. He requires a home with someone willing to put time in to training as he is very intelligent and looks for direction constantly to be rewarded for positive reinforcement. He is in need of someone who is able to be calm when working with him to manage his behavior. Maverick suffers from overstimulation, which means he does not react positively to over handling, sometimes redirection techniques and extra enrichment are needed to help him adjust to new situations. Maverick is in need of a low stress environment to live in, with plenty of exercise throughout the day. He love to run outside, play fetch and play in the water. If you are interested in Maverick please call the Orillia Centre today and speak to a staff member today about Maverick and his particular needs. 705-325-1304. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 30.9 Age: 1yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Hi, I'm Charah! I'm 10 years old, but don't let that fool you, I still have plenty of energy for fun and adventures! I love going on hikes, exploring the great outdoors but I've never been on a leash, so I'd need some help getting used to that. I'm super smart, sweet, and I always try my best to follow the rules. Oh, and did I mention I'm house trained? You won't have to worry about any messes with me around. I would like a quiet household as I can be quite shy of new people, I will need some assistance with learning how to greet new people properly. With some training I am sure I will overcome my fear.I also have a soft spot for treats, so if you have snacks, we'll be best friends forever! If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's full of heart, I could be your perfect match. I can't wait to meet you! Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 20.9 Age: 10yrs 0mths 3wks
