Story
Shadow is extremely sweet and craves love and attention! She was abused by her original adopter, so she's a little shy. While it takes her a second to warm up, she has never been aggressive towards people or animals. Her current place of residence has been taking her out to socialize and she's coming around quickly! She has lived with other dogs and cats. If the cats hiss or pat at her, she gets scared and will avoid them. She has also lived with 3 young boys between the ages of 4-12. She sleeps in bed at night and is mostly potty trained (she's only peed twice in the house in the last week, and that was due to us not being quick enough after she lets us know she needs to go out. She will whine when she needs to potty.) Shadow deserves a home where she will have someone to work with her on training and continued socialization! She loves treats and squeaky toys and will be easily trainable if given the opportunity.

She has most of the typical Husky quirks; she's talkative, active, and independent. Like many Huskies, Bandit is known to be an escape artist and unfortunately it has resulted in her being a repeat offender at the shelter. But we are confident with some better supervision and some positive reinforcement based training that this girl will thrive in a new home. Bandit appears to be potty trained and already knows some basic skills like "sit". Bandit does well with other dogs, and if you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Bandit home.
