Aurora’s journey hasn’t been easy. She arrived at an overcrowded shelter as a stray, scared and very pregnant. Soon after, she gave birth to six healthy puppies, and like the devoted mama she is, she spent her early weeks keeping them safe, warm, and well-fed. After several weeks of caring for her babies in foster Aurora was brought back to us so she could finally focus on her future and now she’s ready to find a loving home of her own. Aurora can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet personality shines through. With patience, tasty treats, and gentle affection, she blossoms into the cuddliest, most loyal girl. If you’re looking for a kind, resilient companion who just needs a little love to fully bloom, Aurora may be your perfect match. She’s ready for her next chapter - one filled with comfort, kindness, and a family to call her own. This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. To schedule an appointment or inquire about walk-in availability, you can reach us during our open hours at 937-294-6505.

I’m a working-breed boy, which means I come fully loaded with energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of love to give the right family. I’m happiest when I have a job to do—whether that’s going on adventures, learning new tricks, or proudly carrying around my favorite toy. Speaking of toys… I love them. Bones? Even better. Give me something to chew or chase and I’ll be your biggest fan. Even though I’m full of zoomies, I’m also full of affection. I adore being around people, making new friends, and showing off my goofy grin. I can’t wait to meet a family who appreciates an active dog and is ready for all the fun (and snuggles) I bring. Hi, my name is Remington - nice to me you! I am a silly girl who just likes to play. I get along really well with people and dogs. One of my favorite things is playing with my foster siblings - even though I will play with everyone, I usually will gravitate towards one pal at a time. I can be a little reserved at first with my humans but once I trust you I'm very affectionate and like to give hugs! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: MUST have breed experience BIRTHDAY: 9/28/22 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes - 8 years and older I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER INQUIRY/CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
