Story
We never intended to permanently take Scarlet but knew she suffered a traumatic experience with moms unexpected death. I’ve put this off for a while but I cannot any longer. We have 3 kids and now our dig Wilson has cancer and will require a lot of love attention and care. No one else in the family can take her because everyone has their own dogs. Scar will be much happier with a family/person who can give her more attention because without it, she has anxiety. About Scar: Great with kids Anxious when not given a lot of attention and honestly does best with a lot of people around Crate trained House trained Loving Was moms BABY and was with her for almost 2 days before she was found hence why I say traumatic event 8 or 9 but has A LOT Of years left

Story
Hello, Lila is 11 year old female Pitt husky mix. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 6 months old. The best pet I’ve ever had. She’s super loving, energetic and outdoorsy. She’s been my hiking buddy ever since. She is house trained but will not stay in an area If let off a leash she is always curious and will Rome. She does always come back though. She needs special shampoo due to her skin allergies. She does not get along with female dogs the older she has gotten. Male dogs are fine and other animals are fine. She absolutely loves children and people. If you’re looking for a protective, loving and kind animal she’s your girl!

These pups are in Charlotte, North Carolina too!

Story
To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. We've been coming across some really nice dogs in the area shelters lately, Ivy is one of those gems. She's 10ish months old right around Thanksgiving, she's about 30lbs, easy-going nature and just an all around delightful gal. Ivy gets along well with other dogs, she's housebroken and crate trained, she's laid back and has lovely house manners, and makes friends wherever she goes. As for what breed she is, it's anyone's guess. She has that German Shepherd mix coloration, but she's got a much shorter coat and is really quite small. Her face look like some sort of small breed mix, maybe pug and beagle had some say in her pedigree. We're going to guess a solid half dozen or more breeds are in there, and every last one of them contributed nothing bug good dog energy to this lovely soul. If you're looking for a safe, social, tolerant and easy kiddo that'd be a perfect first dog, Ivy's your gal. She's going to go unnoticed with her Plain Jane appearance, so do us a favor and show your friends and family who are dog shopping, she's going to check all the boxes for a lot of peoples' wishlist. Wondering how to adopt? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an adoption application, we'll take it from there! Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. November 15, 2024, 6:10 pm

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
