Story
I was given Reese in San Diego, California after an ex-roommate abruptly left him behind in 2019. He’s a very happy and attentive dog. I grew up on a farm and he reminds me of the hard working farm dogs my grandpa kept 3 or 4 around of my entire childhood. He loves to play and is very loving and great with kids, people, and other dogs. He’s a large dog but thinks he’s a chihuahua so he loves to cuddle and sit on you, but he doesn’t jump or knock people over. He’s house trained, but is very sneaky and loves to get into whatever he can in the kitchen when no one’s looking. I am moving as well, and sadly Reese can’t come with me but unlike before I’d like love for him to go to a family or person with a lot of energy and space for him to run around get his energy out. Reese loves to protect and is always keeping his guard up so he has always giving a little bark at noises and things that startle him, he doesn’t have a continuous barking problem but he loves to talk like a husky.

Story
We found Callahan roaming the neighborhood one morning in October, he came to us but was obviously anxious and lost. We took him to the vet where they found no microchip and gave him his vaccines (he needs his boosters at the moment). After searching and posting him online for months we’ve determined that he was probably abandoned. He is the sweetest senior (about 7yo), he loves affection and attention from his caretakers but doesn’t give much heed to cats and other dogs. He still has a lot of energy and wants to be loved! He likes to spend his time napping with his soccer ball or going for walks.
