Duke is a sweet boy that has had a hard time adjusting to new little ones. He is not aggressive towards children but actively runs away from them. He is very smart and loves to run. Duke would do best in a home that is very active and only has no or 1 other dog.

Story
Junior was adopted at 4 months old. He is very active and at about 10 months old he is not neutered yet. He would benefit from this procedure. He is house trained and knows when to go potty outdoors. He does okay in crate, but would need to be let out every 4-5 hours. He is okay with children but would be best without other animals in the house. He does not like to share when it comes to his food and toys. We would like him to go to a loving home where he gets the attention he deserves and more training. This adorable young lady is 1yr old potentially German Shep/husky x? She is right around 45 pounds, so a great size! Starla is a sweetheart of a girl, just a bit shy to begin with when meeting you. Starla would like a nice beginning date to get to know you before she feels comfortable. After she is comfy with you then she is quite playful and affectionate! Starla has lived with kids, cats and dogs but we would like to retest all of the above here just to make sure! Her adoption fee is $200 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we’d like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog.
