You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Buttercup!  I’m your typical Rez puppy—shy and timid at first, but once I warm up, all I want to do is cuddle. I’m an independent girl who also enjoys checking in with my foster brothers throughout the day. I really take cues from other dogs around me. If they’re playing and barking, I’ll happily join in; if they’re relaxing or napping, I’ll do the same.  I’m also a very smart girl—I learned how to sit in less than 12 hours (a new record, right? check out this video ) . I sleep in my playpen at night and don’t whine, which my foster mom really appreciates. I’m working hard on my potty training; I prefer to hold my bladder for a while, but going number two outside is a breeze for me. I LOVE treats and attention, and I’m usually pretty quiet unless there’s another puppy I want to hang out with—then I like to make it known that I’m here! I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash, but my foster mom says I’m doing well and calls me a good girl, which makes me wiggle with happiness. I’m not sure if my name is Buttercup or “pretty girl,” but hey… I can be both, right? Buttercup is from a local reservation.
