You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lupin is a lovely pup with a lot of energy. He loves to run around the yard and loves going camping. He is good with adults and older children (10 and up) but not so much with younger kids. Lupin gets along with other dogs but only for a short period of time until he kicks into alpha mode and starts to push them around. He absolutely cannot be around cats. We love Lupin to death and wish we could keep him but we have been trying to acclimate him to our 2 year old son for the last 2 years and it just isn't working. It is in the best interest of ourselves and Lupin that we find him a forever home where he doesn't have to be separated from his family and can live freely amongst them. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.   Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.   MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lexie is a 4-5 year old GSD who is in need of a forever family/person. From her caregiver: She would do best in a home with no other dogs, small animals or small children, children over 10 would be best. She is a great dog, knows commands (even some German ones!) and is super super playful and full of energy. She has lived outside of a warehouse majority of her life, and would love to have a forever home. Meet Max!Max is a big, goofy sweetheart with the heart of a puppy and the size of a grown dog. As an 8 month old German Shepherd mix puppy and nearly 65 lbs, he's full grown—but still full of playful energy.He loves to run, play fetch, and zoom around the yard, though he settles down quickly after his bursts of fun. A fenced-in yard is a must for Max so he can safely burn off energy. He enjoys long walks, but he does pull on the leash—training classes would help, and he’d love the chance to keep learning. He already sits for treats and is eager to learn more!Max is very affectionate and won't hesitate to climb into your lap for some extra love. He gets along well with other dogs but isn’t a fan of cats. He’d also be excited to meet kids—if you have them, he'd love to say hello!Max would make a wonderful family dog. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion, Max might just be the perfect fit.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test.
