Story
Well, here she is hoping "third time is a charm"- our girl Storm. Storm has quite the history- we found out she is 29% Husky, 21% Am Pit, 14% Boxer, 5% Chow-chow, and 5% Am Staffy- mix. She was born 1/9/23, currently weighs around 40 pounds (she is working on gaining), and wants nothing more than her forever home. Storm joined us at only weeks old- she became old enough for a spay and was adopted shortly after then returned once the family was done with summer vacation and Storm didn't have anyone home. Fast forward- Storm was adopted again- returned due to her getting into trouble being left home alone while her next person was at work. So, Storm has come to teach us she needs 1 of 2 things: Option 1- a home where there is someone around nearly 24/7 or Option 2- a home where she has other dogs to find comfort from- there can be no budge from those in her eyes. Storm has a ton of love, is super soft, very loyal, loves to run and play with other dogs, and finds comfort in having dogs or someone in eyeshot at all times. Storm is potty trained, knows a few basics, is a breeze on a leash, and is crate trained- but can be a stubborn Husky about coming when first called. She will tell you she is ready for bed by going straight toward "her spot" and pacing until you cave. She has done well meeting dogs of all sizes at meet-and-greets with children and does not bother cats. She is a fantastic dog when she is allowed to shine- so if you believe you have that spot for her, follow our link below and find the required ADOPTION APPLICATION to begin welcoming her home. **PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, OH *Storm is spayed, microchipped, current on shots, and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention. *Her adoption fee has now been reduced to $50 due to her long-stay status, and $100 has been graciously donated toward her adoption fee. *Visit our website link below and find the required ADOPTION APPLICATION to give our sweet girl, Storm, a chance at a forever home. Story
Hey, my name is Micky and I am looking for my forever home! I am a sweet boy with a TON of energy, and I am hoping to find an adopter who not only shares my energy level, but who will help train me to keep me on my best behavior. I can be rough when I play, so I will need a home without young children. Once I am fully comfortable with you, you will have a friend for life! I am loving and smart and would make the perfect dog for an experienced dog parent. I really really hate the vet so I will need someone who can help me find a vet I feel comfortable with. I may sound like extra work, I can promise you that the love I will give will be totally worth it! Micky has heartworm which means that this dog has parasitic worms in the right ventricle of the heart and nearby blood vessels. Heartworm is transmitted from one dog to another by mosquitoes and can be easily prevented using monthly heartworm preventative, but once the disease is contracted the treatment process can be quite intensive. Micky will need to remain sedentary with minimal activity during the treatment process to ensure a healthy recovery. There is additional information on heartworm disease and treatment available at our Adoption Desk. The heartworm injections for treatment are covered by HSHV, but there may be additional costs associated with clinical care.

Story
Hello! My name is Louie, an adorable teen-puppy looking for a forever home! I am a bit older than other puppies but that doesn`t stop me from acting like I`m a funny little pup! I will depend on you for guidance and training, especially to help with my shy nature. I like to play with dogs, but I can be a little much for dogs that don`t like to wrestle. So I`m looking for another playmate who`s ready for some fun! This playfulness and a higher prey drive mean I would be best in a home without cats, so no feline friends for me. If you are willing to devote the time needed for a guy like me, you will gain an amazing companion!

Story
Hello, my name is Nova, I am a senior dog who knows what I am looking for in a forever home. I will be an open book from the start! You will know important things like my full-grown size, personality, and ideal lifestyle. I would do best in a home without cats, as I love to chase things and have not done well with cats previously. I also need a home without children under 5 because of my history with being sensitive when my things are taken away. I would enjoy a more low-key lifestyle to live out my golden years. Please come meet me!
