Story
Ash is a big lovable baby. He was raised around a Maltese so in his mind, he’s a tiny little thing. :) He loves to try and sit on your lap and loves kisses. We’ve worked on basic tricks like sit, paw, lay down, and stay. He is very curious and overly excited at times. He gets tge “zoomies” every time he’s let into the yard. He runs like nuts to burn off some energy but as soon as he’s done, he’s right back by your side. If he could, he’d attach himself to your hip. He just wants to be with you at all times. Ash is crate trained so he’s ok sleeping in his crate at night or staying in his crate while you’re out of the house. It breaks our hearts that we have to rehome him.l but we’re moving into a neighborhood with an HOA and they will not allow us to have a dog of his breed. We aren’t charging a fee but want him to go to a good family who will have the time to love and train him.

Story
My husband and I are looking to rehome our Husky/Lab mix, Riley. She will be turning 4 this May. We have had her since she was a puppy. She is an absolute sweetheart but we just don’t have the time to give her the attention and exercise she needs. We both work full time and are out of the house 12+ hours/day and we have an infant to care for. This girl has lots and lots of energy so she needs a yard to run around in or lots of long walks. She is crate trained and currently needs to be crated when left alone and at night as she gets anxious when she’s alone. She was once described as aggressively friendly and that honestly describes her perfectly. She’d never intentionally hurt anyone or anything, but she doesn’t know how big or strong she is. She loves people and other animals.

Story
Meet Freya, a happy, playful German Shepherd! She just turned 2 and is a huge love. She is wonderful around children and so incredibly loyal. She is fully house trained and crate trained. However with our schedules getting busier her behavior has started to regress. She has begun chewing up anything in front of her and reverting back to some of her puppy behaviors out of boredom. I believe that if she can find a home with time to train/stimulate her daily she will be your new best friend!

Story
Tatum is a gorgeous, shy German Shepherd Dog who had a rough start to life. Tatum is hoping to find an adoptive home who has experience with dogs, and understands their body language. He is wonderfully sweet and curious once he makes friends with new people. Tatum has a great nose and loves long, sniffy walks, and exploring. Tatum is affectionate and happy with people he trusts, and walks fairly well on a leash. He will bark at new people who move quickly towards him, and likes to make friends by just hanging out and going for walks without being the center of attention. Tatum is very gently curious about other dogs, and may be able to live with another dog who can approach him calmly. At this time he is looking for an adult home, and may take a few meets before he is ready to go home with an adopter. This great boy will make a wonderful friend for an adopter who is willing to go slow, and build his confidence. If you are are interested in meeting Tatum, please head to our website at worcesterarl.org and fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry to request a meet with Tatum. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!
