Story
Aren`t I just the prettiest German Shepherd you`ve ever seen? My last owners surrendered me after I lived and loved them for my whole life. So, at 4 years old, I`m on the hunt for a new family who will treat me like the princess I am. I`ve lived with kiddos and with other big dogs so I`m pretty compatible with anyone. Except for cats, I am NOT a cat fan. Hopefully you aren`t either! Now, let`s talk more about my amazing qualities! I love going on walks, I`m great at fetch, and since I`m a German Shepherd I`m super smart which means I LOVE to train. But, I am going to need your help with some things. Like all the other girlies, I have some tummy issues. This means that I will need lifelong management with medication and special food (but not too special, you can still get my favorite blend at your local pet store or Chewy). Now that I`ve laid it all out there, do you think you could give me a chance? My foster mom think`s I`m the best, but don`t take her word for it- find out for yourself!

Story
Cletus`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - No cats for this big guyKids - Cletus would love a home with just grown-ups Cletus is a big-hearted, goofy boy with a rugged charm and an endless supply of tail wags. This brawny yet endearing pup has so much love to give and is searching for a home that understands his quirks and can help him grow into his best self.In his recent home, Cletus showed off several wonderful traits. He was housebroken, did well in his crate, and was a respectful houseguest when left to free roam—no accidents or destruction here! He loves toys and will happily chase them around the yard with a bouncy, silly energy that’s impossible not to smile at. With dogs, Cletus seems to gravitate toward playful interactions, but his leash reactivity means he’ll need patience and guidance during introductions. He’s best walked on a back-clip harness to manage his strength.Cletus thrives in an environment where he has structure and outlets for his energy. While he’s generally a sweet and goofy companion, he`s still learning about personal space and can get mouthy, especially when excited or seeking attention. This behavior highlights his need for a home with experienced adopters who can provide consistency, redirection, and positive reinforcement training. If you’re ready to embrace this rugged, goofy hillbilly charm and help Cletus become the best version of himself, he’s ready to meet you. Let’s give this sweet pup the second chance he deserves!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
Loki Poki`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - No, thank you!Kids - Prefers adultsLoki Poki is the huskiest husky to have ever huskied! This quirky young Husky has a personality as unique as his name! Loki Poki was surrendered because his previous owner didn’t have enough time for him, but that just means he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who can match his energy and sense of fun.Loki Poki is housebroken and has made great strides in his crate training, though he still struggles with it at times. He can be a bit vocal and whiny when in the crate but eventually settles down. Loki has a strong prey drive, often lunging for squirrels, so a secure harness is a must. He enjoys going for runs (he’s made it up to 4 miles!) and loves his walks, but he does pull on the leash. He’s a bit possessive about his food, though, so he’ll need an adult-only home where his mealtime space is respected. Loki isn’t a fan of cats, but he’s open to meeting other dogs, so bring your pup by the shelter for a meet and greet!True to his Husky nature, Loki Poki is a hilarious character who loves to `woo` his way through life, always adding some vocal flair. With the right training and guidance, Loki will be the perfect companion for an active household that loves a bit of Husky weirdness!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
