Story
KC Miller is the best good boy! He initially came to us in January of 2021 from an overcrowded shelter when he was put on the euthanasia list. He was adopted out and had a dad who loved him very, very much. Imagine our shock and sadness when we recently got a call from Gary Animal Control that they had KC Miller! Unfortunately, his dad had passed away. So terribly sad, and so devastating for KC. But thank goodness for microchips, as they were able to contact us and we went and got him out of AC immediately! So now we are once again trying to find this guy a forever home.
Back in 2021, he was a husky's husky. What do we mean by that? No dog, and I mean NO DOG, has ever been a bigger escape artist (in our experience) than KC. He had to be supervised at all times. Oh, the stories we could tell (like the time he got out of the yard and wandered into a stranger's home as they were bringing groceries in from the car, just walked in like he owned the place!) Now that he has matured some (he will be 5 years old this summer), he seems to have settled down quite a bit and doesn't seem quite as keen on adventures - which doesn't mean he wouldn't go on one if he was given the opportunity :)
He is just as friendly with people and with other dogs as he ever was. When he was fostered with us initially, he used to go to doggy daycare and he loved it! Now he is fostered with other dogs and we've had him at adoption events with other dogs and he's still just as happy. Probably a bit TOO interested in the kitties, though.
He's a very, very sweet boy. KC is incredibly smart and affectionate to boot.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250.
