Story
We took in a pregnant pitbull who gave birth to 12 healthy pitsky puppies. We rehomed all of them but two. These two, we have continued to love and raise to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, we hit a wall financially and were unable to get their second round of shots or get them spayed. Scrappy is a beautiful and loving dog. He is mild tempered and loves cuddles and dressing up in his sweaters. His brother however, got possessive of me and started attacking him. Despite the attacks Scrappy never tried to hurt him or anyone else, only ever choosing to defend. I believe he would make a family very happy and all we want is for him to be loved, and spoiled the way we can't do. He is well behaved on a leash but needs a strong hand and training as he is very strong and will drag you down the street if he gets too excited lol

Story
So Betty Boop is 7 years old. I go her off Craigslist. I did see her mom. Her mom looked very similar. Her dad was husky. I’m unsure on breed. She 100% has husky personality traits. Likes to talk. Super friendly. Always happy around new people and other dogs. She lived her whole life on a semi truck, so that’s why she is listed as not house trained. She did try jumping out of the truck once and injured her leg years ago. She also has epilepsy. Unknown triggers. Usually happens 1-2 times a year. Couldn’t afford neurological tests for further treatment.

Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/2011 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): light tan / black Description:Hi, I'm Roxy, a beautiful German Shepherd X who is in need of a new home as three indoor cats are coming to live in the home and I am not good with cats. I also do not get along with other dogs, small animals or birds. I need to be your one and only.I enjoy my hips scratched, my chest rubbed, daily morning walks (I use a harness.) and Pupperoni treats. I don't care for biscuit treats much. I seem to like people and children as long as I don't feel threatened by them. The 4th of July is not my favorite holiday as fireworks scare me.I know people will pass me by due to my age and all the things I don't care for, but I hope there is someone who will see me for the special dog that I am. Please fill out an online application if you want to meet me.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Story
Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/22/2019 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): brown/black little white on chest Description: Hi, I'm Cali, a beautiful German Shepherd X in need of a new home as my owner is deploying and I cannot go too. Thankfully CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find a new home. I'm good with children and people, but skittish with other dogs. It's unknown how I'd do with cats. I've had formal training and know basic commands. I enjoy playing fetch and snuggling. The best home for me would be with older children and as the only dog. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life. Available to foster or adopt!Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 2/2020 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black/brown Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Icarus, a handsome German Shepherd X rescued from Animal Services. I'm grateful to my sponsor for making it possible for me to come into the CARL program and for giving me another chance at finding my forever home. It was noted at Animal Services that I loved squeaky toys and tummy rubs! I had been responding well to leash training with their staff and volunteers. They thought the best home for me would be adult only with no other dogs and generally minimal contact with other dogs. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life.
