Story
Sky was born on Valentines Day 2024, a beautiful female pit bull, pitsky mix. She is from a mixed litter from a home in Anaheim that belongs to a former student of mine who was at risk of eviction due to the surpise litter of puppies. I volunteered to take Sky, in an effort to help, but I have two senior dogs with health issues that Sky gets too excited by, and sometimes too rough with. They typically get along fine, but Sky's energy is too much for the old boys. We have tried training and crating. She does fine through the night in the crate. She loves to play, run, play catch. She can sit and shake. She does NOT come or stay, though, and she is still jumping up and chewing sometimes. She is affectionate and will give kisses she will cuddle, but she is ready to play and play hard if you let her. She wants to play all the time. I think she needs training and a home WITHOUT other pets. I have seen her shy in public, but she fought with my older dog over a bone. Hope you can help.

Story
Bruno is a beautiful, 2-year-old brown and white Husky. His previous owner was told she couldn’t have animals in her condo, and so she pretty much wanted to just dump him somewhere. The good folks at the El Toro Animal Hospital in Lake Forest stepped in and now he is ready to find his true and deserving forever home. Here are some notes on Bruno by one of his daily walkers: “ Bruno is a very gentle dude, and walks nicely on a leash. He knows sit and stay (when waiting to cross the road). He’s not reactive to dogs or people and is not spooked easily on the street by loud noises. He is curious when on a walk and likes to sniff a lot (and chase the occasional lizard). I did try to run with him and he does seem to like that as well. He does seem to have the high energy you come to expect from this breed.”  Bruno is neutered, microchipped, up to date with all vaccinations, and had his wellness and fecal tests done. So, if you are looking for an awesome dog for your family, why not give this distinguished gentleman a chance and make a difference in his life.   If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more.
