Story
OJ is a one-year-old, energetic and loving dog. He loves playing fetch, going on walks, splashing with the water hose, and even enjoys bath time. His friendly, happy nature will bring a smile to your face every day. OJ is crate trained and has mastered the sit command. He's still working on controlling his excitement, sometimes jumping up or crying when left alone, but he's making great progress. OJ can get bored when left alone, so keeping him in his crate when you're out helps prevent chewing. His favorite toy is a ball, and he loves puzzle toys to keep him entertained. OJ thrives on attention and would do best in a home where he can be an active, integral part of the family. Take him on your hikes, trips to the beach, and other adventures. He's had experience living in an apartment and is potty trained, using a crate to help him hold it until his outdoor breaks. He eats twice a day, enjoys daily walks, and loves spending time outdoors. OJ prefers sleeping inside but is adaptable.

++++ PLEASE NOTE - we are now working towards finding a FOSTER caregiver for SHIR for upto 6 weeks. Shir's owner needs to focus on their personal human health. While heartbroken, owner cannot sustain keeping her dog Shir at this moment.... A little more about SHIR, a female pit bull dog... Blue nose pitty with some Brindle /Staffordshire mix. Shir has been in a top quality boarding place for 2 months and worked with the other dogs there... Shir is now is with an experienced dog owner friend who also owns a pitty. Here is what the current caregiver texted about Shir... "She is very affectionate, a ton of personality. Loves to watch TV and cuddle together. She is easy to love, and if you earn her trust she will return to you with so much love" Up to date on shots, etc. Ideal safe place for Shir.... is with mostly male dogs. Not so great with female dogs. Good with Kids. Caregiver will need to be assertive with her.

Story
Light is very smart and very loving. I hate to give him up but we’ve been through so many changes since I’ve had a child and he just isn’t getting the attention that he needs (and his favoritism thing is attention from his humans) he spooks easy and is very protective needs obedience training because I just was always home with him so he barks at almost everyone on walks but means well. Once he knows you or you’ve pet him at home he is ok. He’s more scared and just loud. He’s between 50-60 lbs and pulls in walks. He needs lots of love and a decent sized yard. Balls don’t do it for him he’s a frisbee guy. He’s allergic egg I can provide what he’s used to eating at home and prefers to sleep next to you or in same room.

Story
Meet Clover! Clover is a unique and beautiful 4-year-old Husky/Shiba Inu mix with a heart of gold. She is a bit of a free spirit who enjoys her independence, but is also a loving companion when she warms up to you. Clover’s Story: Clover experienced a significant loss in 2023 when she unexpectedly lost her beloved owners. This traumatic event has understandably made her a bit cautious and less social than other dogs. She’s still learning to trust and open up to new people. Clover’s Personality: * Independent: Clover enjoys her alone time and may not be the best fit for a home that requires constant companionship. * Playful: When she feels comfortable, Clover can be playful and enjoys her toys. * Cautious: Clover may take some time to warm up to new people and situations. * Leash-Skeptical: Clover is not a fan of leashes and may require patience and gentle training to learn to walk on a leash. Ideal Home: Clover is looking for a loving and patient home

Story
Taz has 6 weeks of private professional training. Taz is kennel trained & has great house manners. He loves to run & play with our Doberman. We also have 2 cats. Taz needs a big yard to run, another big dog to play with, be inside with us or hanging out in the yard, lots of toys, to be walked, LOTS of cuddles, hugs & kisses. He’s not quick to warm up to people but once he gets to know you he loves you. We got Taz to be my replacement Service Dog which needs to be about 60lbs. He’s currently 95 lbs & 30” at the shoulder. DNA testing shows 26% Great Dane, 25% German Shepherd plus misc others. He was born on 6/30/23. He is an awesome lovable dog. The shelter & vet said he’d be about 60-70lbs but he just kept growing. We love him very much but need to face the fact that he just got too big to be my Service Dog. I’m 5.2” & 70 yrs old. I need a Service Dog but he’s too big for me. I will provide info on his trainer & vet. I can provide videos & more pictures. Please share this listing.
