Meet Beanie, a 2-year-old female cat! She came to us as a stray.Beanie is a very shy and frightened girl at the shelter and is still trying to navigate all the new sights and sounds around her. She often needs extra time and space to feel safe, but with patience and gentle handling, she has the potential to truly blossom.This sensitive girl will need a calm, loving, and patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once Beanie is able to settle into a home and feel secure, she has shown that she can be affectionate and playful. She just hasn’t yet had the chance to fully come out of her shell.Beanie would do best in a quiet environment with someone willing to move at her pace and help her build confidence day by day. With consistency, kindness, and understanding, she has the potential to become a wonderful companion.We’re unsure of her experience with cats, dogs, or children.
