Story
This is a beautiful, young looking, male cat. He is very sweet, calm and loves being with people. We believe he may be a stray cat as nobody has claimed him via posts we've made to date. We are all allergic to cats, so we are unable to keep him permanently. We believe he would make a great indoor or outdoor pet for a cat loving family. We have bought him many supplies which will go with him to his new home.

Story
This male cat is very well mannered and friendly. He seems to have been socialized. He does well indoors and outdoors. He’s been posted to 11 sites looking for an owner but nobody has claimed him. He’s been hanging out at my sons home and won’t leave. We’ve been caring for him but are seeking his forever home. We are allergic to cats so we can’t keep him.

Story
Ellie is almost 13 months old and a purebred Chinchilla Persian. We purchased her for $3000 last summer, when she was around 5 months old. She is the sweetest cat, but extremely timid and terrified of new people and children. Unfortunately, we have been dealing with a few health problems, and we are no longer able to continue to provide the support and care she needs. Shortly after adopting her, she was diagnosed with Coccidia and Crypto Sporidium. We have gone through a few months of antibiotic treatments - while there is definitely improvement here, I think she needs additional treatment and care. Additionally, she has signs of tooth resorption, that we have not yet addressed. With the issues mentioned, we are truly hoping to find her a home with a loving and doting owner who can provide the care and attention she needs. I think she will be happier in a quiet house with no small children. She is up to date on vaccines, and has been spayed.

Story
Meet Indi! Indi is a shy little girl born in late 2018. While small and shy she has a lot of love to give to someone who is willing to be patient with her. During her time here she has become very fond of the one on one time she gets, especially at night when it`s very quiet. She is not a fan of men or kids. Indi is just a sweet, calm girl that requires a home with little activity. Indi could likely adjust to another friendly kitty. She is fully vetted! You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $300 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Story
Meet Thor: What a beauty! What a lover boy! What a jerk with other cats 🤣. Thor is a three year old white Persian with blue eyes. Thor is a sweet, affectionate boy with a stunning coat and amazing blue eyes. He does not like other cats. If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $350. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com, we will provide you with an application via email.

Story
Boots was originally adopted in 2012 as a kitten, along with his sister Gracie. He has had a wonderful life with his humans until one day mom human passed away. This was very sad for Boots but he had his Dad human.... until this year when Dad had to go to a care facility and there was no way to take Boots or Gracie. We took both Boots and Gracie and have tried to give them the love and care they deserve at our foster facility. It is not ideal as they really would prefer the constant company of humans. They can be separated. They do not appear to be bonded. Boots is confused and sad but is making progress in being more comfortable with new human friends. We understand that not everyone can manage the care of a senior when it could involve medical issues and vet bills. He has had a senior physical and is in excellent health. We are willing to sponsor their medical/vet costs. If you would like to meet Boots, please email us at adopt@feralfriends.org. We are looking for either a foster home or a forever home. If you would like to adopt, please submit an adoption application through our website: www.feralfriends.org

Story
Lu Lou has long silky white hair and the markings of a calico. Her initial appearance mirrors a normal cat. When she walks you will notice a slight sway (swagger!) in her rear end. Her functionality is excellent. All radiology tests were considered within normal range. It is possible that she has a very mild case of Cerebella Hypoplasia. *** She just wags that back end in the cutest way. Lu Lou is extremely affectionate and thrives on human attention. Can she play? Oh yes, she bats the little felt balls around, hides behind doors, then shuts them!! She loves climbing up her cat tree and watching the birds and squirrels. (Photo shows bird watching) Remember that saying, they wiggle and they waggle but they will not fall down. (well maybe once in a while) That is our Lu Lou. Seems to be okay with quiet non- confrontational catsPlease consider meeting her. It will be love at first sight.***Cats with cerebellar hypoplasia have a good prognosis for quality and length of life. Since the condition is not progressive or fatal, symptoms will not worsen over time or affect the overall lifespan of your cat. Cats with cerebellar hypoplasia will live the same length of time as non-affected cats and have no other behavioral abnormalities or health issues as a result of the condition. If you would like to adopt, please submit an adoption application through our website: www.feralfriends.org
