Hugo is a very stunning long hair young man beginning his search for his forever home. He hasn’t been in his foster home very long but has acclimated quickly and absolutely adores the other cats and kittens he gets to spend his days with. He got very lucky when he happened to show up on camera during a local Trap-Neuter-Return project, and a foster took him in. Hugo and his brother Ivan came in together and very much enjoy playing and hanging out with each other. They currently do need to be adopted together and as a bonus would love it if their forever home had another friendly feline friend or two. He will do best in a home without small children as they have not grown up around them.
Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80
Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at https://furryfriendsnetwork.org/adopt-a-furry-friend/core-values/.
If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.org / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.org and look under How to Help / Foster Program / Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
