Meet Bilbo, truly the bravest little hobbit with the softest grey fluff and the sweetest, most gentle soul. Bilbo recently lost the only family he’s ever known, and the sudden change has been a big adjustment for this sensitive little guy. In new environments he can be shy and a bit cautious at first, quietly observing the world around him while he figures out who he can trust. But just like his namesake, Bilbo is braver than he seems. Once he feels safe, Bilbo’s true personality begins to shine. He forms deep bonds with his people and becomes a loving, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be near the ones he trusts. Bilbo is likely a munchkin cat mix  based on the history his previous owner provided. Munchkin cats are prone to joint problems due to their malformed spines and limbs. Adopters should be prepared to work wifh their private veterinarian to create a plan to strictly manage his weight to prevent joint strain, prioritize routine veterinary monitoring for early detection of osteoarthritis, and maintain a balanced diet particularly focused on joint health. Moonpie is a spayed female calico Persian, born on March 1, 2023. Moonpie's temperament is calm and she has moods of being playful. She does best with being a one cat home, maybe one other cat, but she would have to be the boss. She does not like dogs. Her current home is a rescuer and Moonpie is very stressed. She loves laps and pets and is very sweet and loving. She likes birds and feather toys, which she carries around like they are babies or prey. She will meow and talk to you. She likes treats and loves wet food. She eats Purina Kitten food and enjoys a water fountain. She is a purebred Persian, and she will need to be brushed and her face cleaned daily! She needs an owner with experience with the breed.  Indoor cat only! The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. After treatment he spent days sleeping in bed which was heartbreaking because we felt he waited to be safe again for too long. He is a super gentle and kind soul. He is great with other cats and children. Being a friendly house cat, he didn’t realize that they wanted to kick him which was a devastating thing to witness. I immediately took him in. He loves to play. I think he has a kitten spirit. Some of the cats are bothered by his energy so he is best suited with a cat that matches his energy. They really love each other. He protects her and she feels safe with him. Both are cuddly and playful but shadow is more confident. . She is very friendly, cuddly and playful.  Herstory: abandoned as a skinny kitten with severe dehydration. I named her Warda/flower, because she carries the same quiet beauty and softness of a flower. She’s gentle, calm and effortlessly brings a sense of peace wherever she goes. Just like a flower brightens a space without asking for attention, Flower's presence is tender, comforting, and full of warmth.Shadow is a 3.5y Maine Coon mix who is literally a shadow cat (meaning he is your shadow:)!History: abandoned, I left him some food, but he followed me to my car--hence the name. I found him an adopter who returned him due to accommodation restrictions but when I picked him up, I discovered he was not cared for as agreed. He was kept in a small room with small litter tray. She told me he didn’t like to play and his hair was very matted. I took him to the second adopter who promised to care for him only to return him after few days because her cat hissed once at him so I took him back. He is like a big kitten. Gentle, cuddly and playful! He is very bonded to Flower and must be adopted with her.
