Story
Cardi C came from a difficult situation and learned so much in her foster home. She loves other cats and watches them intently, copying what they do. She loves playing with toys especially cat nip toys. She is fearful of people and will need a patient and understanding family in order to build trust. Cardi C is still easily startled so a quieter home might be best. She has discovered how great  treats are and loves her wet food. She has an adorable little snore and loves scritches under her chin. Foster care has been wonderful for her so the right adoptive home will be amazing. The adoption fee is $300 plus tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
