This handsome fellow came to us through a heartbreaking circumstance: his family of 4 years now have to travel for work were no longer able to care for him. Milo was acquired at just eight weeks old from an Ohio breeder, is a gentle soul with a unique charm.He's a creature of comfort, delighting in long naps – particularly in spare cat beds tucked away in closets (a habit that reveals his impressive talent for opening bi-fold doors! His previous family reported him expertly accessing the linen closet for impromptu towel naps). This independent adventurer would thrive in a stable, quieter home environment; he's not one for sudden changes, as evidenced by his initial reluctance to eat after his family's departure. It took him almost a week to start eating in his foster home.Currently sporting a freshly shaved coat (his luxurious fur is already making a delightful comeback!), Milo is a purring machine – a veritable freight train of affection – who adores chin scratches. The teenage daughters in his previous home carried Milo on his back like a baby and he was fine with it. He's adjusting well to his foster home, showing promising signs of compatibility with the resident cats, though introductions are still ongoing.Milo is looking for a patient and understanding family who can offer him the quiet, stable home he deserves, a place where he can continue to be the pampered prince he truly is.
