Sits on lap frequently. Demands to be picked up sometimes (she literally reaches up with her paws stretched up till you pick her up). Purrs and purrs. Likes to play.  I tried to introduce her to Josie (another female) but Mischa started hissing at her (Josie ran away). Mischa may settle down with another cat if someone has time to introduce them slowly (and when she’s feeling more secure) but preferably in a home of her own.   Currently Living at:  Shelter...coming to DC area soon!  I am Looking For: My loving forever family! PENDING ARRIVAL FROM KUWAIT IN OCTOBER PERSIAN/HIMALAYAN MIX

Chloe is not appropriate for a home with young children or first-time cat owners. She will need an adopter who is experienced with Persian cats. The adopter must be able to read cats accurately and respect their boundaries. Although Chloe will start out shy, with some patience she will become a loving companion. Chloe's estimated birth date is February 2023. She is spayed, current on her vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.

Perla is a one-eye diva who still gets around just fine. She just wants to be the center of your universe! She has some skin allergy issues, so she needs an owner who can devote the time and energy to maintain healthy grooming habits. To know her is to love her. Say hello to your next best friend! Brownie is a young adult cat with a great personality and all the best qualities. She’s got an amazing coat that has been fully de-tangled and is brushed daily so it’s smooth and silky. She is a friendly companion without being needy, likes to play with her toys and dash around the house in the mornings, naps in the afternoons. Brownie is a good eater and enjoys her dry kibbles and some canned food as well, she tends to nibble throughout the day. Brownie has a tiny, squeaky meow that is very endearing but rarely heard. She is accustomed to using the liter box for urination but is still adjusting to doing her poop there. She will poop near the box, just not in it yet. No accidents around the house, she just needs a patient soul who is willing to help her get the hang of this underdeveloped skill. We have high hopes that she will learn a new habit in time. Uncertain of her status with other animals since she’s currently an only kitty with her foster family, but she’s great with the various adults she’s met. Beautiful Val came to our rescue after being left on the street in Cairo by some awful people We are thrilled she is with us! Val is a stunning young girl with long golden fur and tabby markings. She hasn’t been with us long but she is gradually getting used to her new environment. She is very sweet and loves to be petted. We would love to see her in a lovely home.
