Who wouldn’t want an armful of this big sweet boy? Tiptree is as nice as the jams he is named for. He was scared and shy when he and his family first arrived, but he is a gentle giant purrfect for cuddles. He likes wand toys, high cozy spots, treats, and patient affection. Tiptree is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Sweet-faced Smuckers is part of a whole family of large fluffy cats with short faces and long tails. They all share too many genes, some of which may be Persian. We don’t know exactly how Smuckers is related to any particular family member. Is Tiptree his brother/father/son/nephew/cousin? We know Cutie is not his mom, but is she his sister, half-sister, daughter or niece? And/or? Fortunately, everyone in the family is now altered, so no need to try to sort out the genetic relationships of any more potential offspring! Really, it doesn’t matter. Smuckers arrived dirty, matted, and scared, but he has turned out cuddly and playful. He likes treats and toys and attention. He needs some help with maintaining his long fluffy tail, but honestly, can you resist that floof? We estimate this pretty boy was born about March/April of 2023. Smuckers is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. ***The step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Evelyn is sweet and special!  She came in with a whole group of kittens from a farm working on spaying and neutering all of their cats.  We commend them for their forward thinking and love that they were so willing to help reduce a further population explosion.  Evelyn was special though and very unique.  She was clearly smaller in stature than all the others and was not hitting all the milestones that the other kittens were.  Well she still isn't as big as her siblings but she has grown to be a healthy super floof of kitten.  She is not as brave and really needs a friendly cat to keep her company because the few times we have had her on her own she cries.   Update....Evelyn has formed a bond with her kennel mate Tracksie and she feels safer and more confident with the presence of her smaller yet more brave 'sister'.  The two enjoy each others company for play, cuddles and grooming.   Evelyn is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped.  As always her adoption fee is free will to approved applicants. March 19, 2026, 3:26 pm
