Story
Sweet, cuddly, quirky persian cat, Romeo, needs a new home. I picked him up 14 years ago (I've been with him his whole life). Neutered, vaccines and visits up to date (records available), clear labs and very healthy. He’s been on Gabapentin but recently shifted to Fluoxetine because he occasionally pees and poops on our couch. However, when consistently given medication once a day and more wet food in his diet, his condition/behavior improves. He would benefit from a second litter box and more (perhaps exclusive) wet food in his life, both of which I can't accommodate as a new mom. He needs someone with the capacity to give him a wonderful senior life with the little bit of extra attention he now needs (meds, wet food, and a second litter box). I trust that someone who has the time can fully resolve the behavior, which has only improved with care and attention.

Story
Thomas is a beautiful senior Persian with the sweetest soul and the softest fur. His life hasn’t been easy, but he has never given up. This brave boy was hit by a car and miraculously survived. While recovering, veterinarians also discovered a mass in his mouth that required surgery, and like the fighter he is, Thomas pulled through. Now fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of his life, Thomas is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by warmth and kindness. Thomas adores soft beds, gentle pets, and calm company. He’s  grateful for every moment of comfort and love. After everything he’s endured, he deserves nothing less than a forever home that will cherish him as much as he deserves. If you believe in second chances and want to open your heart to a truly special cat, Thomas is waiting for you. Please fill out and submit an adoption application today. Story
Meet Fola & Carmel — A Bonded Persian Mother & Son Duo Ready for Their Forever Home! Fola’s story began on the streets of Alexandria, Egypt, where this beautiful full Persian girl was found alone and in need of care. Once safely in foster, she surprised everyone by giving birth to one perfect little kitten — her son, Carmel. Fola is a gentle, sweet, and graceful Persian who adores affection and quiet companionship. Carmel is her loving, playful boy who follows his mom everywhere. He absolutely worships her — and she’s just as devoted to him. This pair shares an extraordinary bond. Carmel’s confidence comes from his mother’s presence, and Fola blossoms when her son is near. For their emotional well-being and happiness, they must stay together. What They’re Looking For:A forever home filled with love, patience, and people who appreciate the beauty of keeping a family together. They will reward you with endless sweetness, soft purrs, and the joy of watching a truly inseparable duo. If you’re ready to welcome a mother-and-son pair who will fill your home with warmth, please reach out to us. Story
Profile and Pics: Meet Alfred, our wonderful, resilient street survivor, ready for his forever home! Our big, beautiful boy, Alfred, came to us from one of our feeding stations about a year ago. He seemed to be an old, stiff street cat worn down by life outdoors, and with winter setting in, we brought him inside. But when our vet examined him, we learned he was much younger than he looked; it was only his injured, shattered paw and gimpy hip damaged in some unknown trauma that made Alfred seem so ancient. One year later, Alfred has absolutely blossomed in foster care. This 4-year-old boy has healed well enough to be a happy and mellow purring machine craving attention and companionship. Pat the couch next to you; he’ll be by your side in a flash. Hold up a brush, and he’ll take the lead, rubbing his chin against it, almost grooming himself! Like many former tomcats biologically forced to fight for territory and love, Alfred tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). But Alfred will live a normal life if given the love and care all cats deserve. What's most important about our Alfred is he’s a big, handsome, and soulful boy looking for a family to cuddle with. Alfred would be happiest as an only cat. Are you ready to meet Alfred? The first step is to submit our adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. Adopters must live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.
