Story
Mackey is an old girl (11) but a special one she still likes to play and has spurts of her youthful energy. She is very cautious and but of a scardy cat in new situations and does not trust easily. She will be better one on one as she is older and just needs a calm environment. She will be good with someone who is sensitive and empathetic. She is really sweet and just needs a really good home. This is the hardest thing I have ever done and truly saddened to part with her 💔

How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by their previous owner on October 24, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Jacko! This sweet, food-loving boy is ready to find a loving new home where he can share his affectionate personality. While he loves to receive pets and attention, he can become a bit overstimulated with too much handling, so a home that respects his cues will help him feel secure. Jacko does have diabetes, and will need ongoing monitoring and management with insulin and diet. He handles his medical care with patience and trust, calmly accepting his medication and exams while enjoying chin scratches and back rubs. With a steady routine and a caring, attentive adopter, he'll be a loyal and affectionate companion who adds joy to your home. Come meet him today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 14.8 Age: 8yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
Lola is 11 going 12 years old. This sweet girl has had a long, hard journey and deserves a peaceful, loving home to spend her golden years. We’re heartbroken to rehome her due to our baby’s allergies, but our greatest hope is finding someone who will cherish her the way she deserves. She’s very reserved and gentle, but when she chooses you, she’s wonderfully cuddly and full of quiet affection. She was found trapped in a car engine, and after surgery she lost part of her tail, leaving her with the cutest little nub. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and has never bitten. All she wants now is a calm home, a soft place to rest, and someone who will love her as she lives out the rest of her days.

Story
Meet Pickles 🥒 Pickles is a sweet, social boy who was living as a friendly stray in a mobile home community with many outdoor cats. He was already ear tipped, showing he had been part of a TNR program, but his affectionate personality really stood out. He’s one of the friendliest cats in the area and clearly enjoys human attention, which is why we brought him into rescue. Pickles is loving, approachable, and happy to make new friends. He’s now safe and looking for a foster or foster to adopt home where he can relax, continue to thrive, and show off just how special he is. If you’re looking for a kindhearted companion who’s ready to trade street life for couch life, Pickles may be your guy. 💚
