Story
Please contact Renee (givethemahappylife@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. TO INQUIRE ABOUT THESE CATS email Renee at GiveThemAHappyLife@gmail.com  Include a bit about your home, who lives there and why you are interested in adopting a kittens now.  Thank you! Spicy was found with her leg stuck to a rat glue trap. With some of olive oil and a slight haircut we were finally able to free her and bring her home. After giving her a much needed bath, an adorable fluffy kitten was found underneath!Words to describe her would be playful, energetic, and fearless! Her favorite things to play with are a ball with a bell inside and a scratching post.Spicy would chose playing over being held until she is ready then will come to you for attention.  She's a gal who know what she wants! For this reason, Spicy would be best in a home without young kids.  She has also become very comfortable the two large dogs in the home and enjoys trying to catch their wagging tails.Spicy is full of personality and would love to be an addition to your home! Spicy is in a home with adult cats and dogs.  Spicy is not fond of the cats so should go to a home without other cats.   Courtney  Click here to watch a video of Spicy.April 9, 2025, 6:24 pm

Sylvie and Ginger MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Adoption Fee: $550 for the pair Well, it is a safe guess that you have never seen a pair of Scottish Fold sisters like these two. They are so special. I couldn't believe my eyes when a breeder brusquely dropped them in my carrier in a MacDonald's parking lot. Sylvie was 4.6 pounds. Tiny! and her sister, Ginger, wasn't that much bigger. Sylvie is now 6 pounds and Ginger, just a little over 7. I have had them in foster now for four months. They needed time to unfold and learn to enjoy attention. They didn't have names. They hadn't had much of anything. Ginger's coat had been chopped down with scissors and needed to grow in. Vulnerable little unhappy babies, they needed to learn what it was like to be loved. Treasured is the word I like to use. Cats are so resilient. These kitties hid, relaxed a little, peeked out of their hiding place, gained some weight, looked out a window, and finally became grateful little kitties loving our kindness and attention. They are part Persian with their flat faces and super long hair. For Persians, love from their humans is the breath of life. They are vulnerable little beings who are dependent on love and must be protected and pampered. So I am looking for a home that can offer stability, quiet, safety, probably no other pets or maybe very quiet non dominant ones, no young children. These are not kitties for someone with an out of the house work schedule. Can you put them in the center of your home and heart. Can you nurture them til the roughness of their beginnings are forgotten and their hearts swell with happiness? Do you have time in your life to be there for them? Have you had Persians in your care before? That is a lot to look for right there but it is not all. These two have the most plush fur I have ever seen.Their amazing fur is a big job for anyone. Believe me on this and I have cared for a lot of Persians. Their coat is difficult. Their new family will need to run a comb thru their hair every day. That will probably suffice to keep matts from forming. Or you could have them lion cut once or twice a year. Their hair is fine silk and that makes matting more likely and the vast quantity of it and length intensifies that. I know there are organized, careful folk who would find this daily ritual really pleasing and full of love. Is that you? Look at the hair in Sylvie's tail -it is over 7.5" long. I measured it. Some family will be so lucky to get to live with the company of these two kitties who are treasures beyond price. Ginger is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Ginger (and Sylvie) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Kindra is a sweet girl that loves human company. She is a black smoke color which means she appears black but has a white undercoat at the base. This results in a smoky, hazy effect as the fur moves. Smoke Persians are highly sought after because of their unique appearance. She has been shaved, so not as much time was required to keep her coat in excellent shape. Her previous owner got her as a kitten and she lived with a dog in a quiet home. He has moved to New Zealand and he felt the isolation required to bring her with him would be too stressful for her. She is a loving cat and is getting more playful daily with her foster mom. She greets her at the door and meows softly to say hello. She loves chasing the feather toy and trying to capture it. She also plays with small balls and enjoys climbing on the scratching post and curling up in the cubby. This girl will be an excellent addition to a quiet home that has prior Persian experience. She needs her humans around to keep her company and show her she is a cherished member of the family. Will you be the lucky one to adopt this treasure? She will bring you lots of love and joy! Kindra is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Carmichael. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Kindra please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurie at Lcrystalormsby@gmail.com or 916 799-2040. If you are unable to reach Laurie please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? Story
Duke is a striking white purebred Peke-faced Persian who was surrendered to Toni’s Kitty Rescue by a breeder. A very tiny kitten, he was extremely slow to grow and now at 7 months old he is still only a bit over 4 pounds and will likely always be a very petite cat. What he lacks in size he makes up for in affection. Duke is an uber loving cuddlebug who loves to snuggle and rub against your face and will follow you through the house, almost like a dog. Speaking of dogs, Duke did great with the large dog in his foster home and also with other cats. But people are definitely his favorite! Duke has a very sweet and calm nature and fairly mellow personality, although he does love his dangly toys and exploring his domain. While Duke’s personality is affectionate and easygoing, due to his fur and breed he is a very high maintenance cat. He also will likely require more extensive and expensive veterinary care than the average cat. Duke also has been diagnosed with a 3/6 heart murmur. We can give you more information about his diagnosis. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7. Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions. We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! Meet Princess, a gorgeous 9.5-year-old fluffy kitty who enjoys being admired from afar—until she’s ready for some gentle head scratches! She loves curling up in her favorite cat tree, surveying her kingdom with grace and poise.Though she enjoys her independence, Princess also has a playful side! Give her a wand toy, and she’ll show off her moves. Lately, she’s been warming up to new feline friends, sharing sweet grooming sessions and affectionate body rubs.

Story
Princess is a sweet and sassy 8 month old kitty who’s loved by everyone she meets. This darling girl adores greeting neighbors and their kids, spreading joy wherever she goes. At home, she’s wonderfully playful with my children, even joining in on games like hide-and-seek with my daughter. While she’s mostly playful with other kitties, she knows when to set her boundaries with a touch of spice. Her super-soft fur, adorable face, and affectionate nature make her an absolute sweetheart and a joy to have around.   Adoption fee $300  February 22, 2025, 1:56 pm
