Story
Hi, I am Grace! I'm 8 years old and 16 pounds of sweetness! I love life. I especially love being with my special people and getting lots of attention and belly rubs. My fur is only about an inch long but it's thick and soft and plush, so I'm a good cuddler. I know a few commands, like "sit" and "come", and I spin for a treat! I'm very agile and quick, and can walk backwards or leap higher than you might expect. I enjoy exploring new places, going for walks, and riding in the car. I have lots of energy but I'm also happy to curl up and relax. Like any dog, I can't go forever without a potty break, but if I have a dog door or someone who can take me out regularly, I'll do my best to avoid making messes. I love having a fenced yard and like to watch out the window to see what's happening, but don't worry, I'm quiet and not a barker! I haven't spent much time with other animals so I have a sort of fear/aggression thing that takes over, especially when I'm on a leash. It can be a little tricky on walks but I am getting better about it. I just need reminding and high-value treats are an good distraction! I love food! I have been known to steal food off the table. I don't mean to, it just seems to me that it's left out there for the taking. I behave myself when I'm home alone, but I'd rather go with you, and will be overjoyed when you return. Until I met my foster mom, I spent a lot of time in the garage. I love that she home with me most of the time and that is what will be best for me in my forever home. I will be a great friend and companion to you! I love meeting new people and can't wait to meet my perfect forever home match!
