She recently came to us after her owner moved and was unable to take her along—a big change that has left her feeling a little scared and unsure. While she may be shy at first, Athena is simply looking for a place where she can feel safe again. With a little patience, kindness, and reassurance, she’s sure to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. Athena would do best in a home that understands she may need some time to adjust, but the reward will be a loyal dog who just wants to be part of a family again. She’s ready to leave the shelter behind and start her next chapter surrounded by love. Athena is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed—ready to go home with her forever family.
