Story
Midge will be adopted only in the Greater St. Louis area. A securely fenced yard is required. Midge is a 16-month-old little girl with what can only be described as having an enthusiastic personality. Time to get up in the morning? Let's go! Time for breakfast? Awesome! Outside? Yeah!! Go to my crate? Yay! Everything is done with enthusiasm and joy. She's very affectionate, loves to play, cuddle, you name it. She's curious about the world - new smells, sights and sounds. They're all wonderful. And like any youngster, all that running around ends with an evening of being ready for bed. She curls up in a ball and sleeps like a log. She would probably like a friendly dog to play with, though if you're pretty active, she would likely do fine as an only dog, too. Her roomies here are two Basset Hounds and they're great together. Lots of roughhousing and barreling around the yard. Fun for them and fun for your viewing pleasure! Midge is house trained, crate trained, and comes when called (almost always). She is an adorable little ball of fluffy joy. Midge will be adopted only in the Greater St. Louis area. A securely fenced yard is required. No exceptions. No electric fences. No children under the age of 10 years old. The adoption fee is $350.00. Direct questions to claireelizabeth@petssecondchance.org. Check out our web site at www.petssecondchance.org for more information about Corgis and adoption.

Story
TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Corgi Dachshund mix (we think) and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Birdie is a 2 and a half old purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She has her papers, though we never registered her. We are looking to rehome her due to many failed attempts to get her and our other dog to work out their grudges, but ultimately Bird is just not having it with her. That being said, other than that, she's a wonderful being. She is herding ball obsessed and has a wonderfully high prey drive. She is full of energy and would do best with a family who can provide her many outlets for said energy (we call them her brain squirrels), with physical as well as mental stimulation. She is very, very bright, vocal, cute, loyal, and affectionate. She always wants to be in your pocket and is actually a really good bag dog. Birdie just wants to be with you always. She doesn't have seperation anxiety but will wait at the door for you to come home. She's a good soul, and whomever recieves her, will be so glad they did.

Story
Let me introduce myself, my official name is William, but everyone calls me Billy!  I am a one year old Pembrooke Corgi.  I had an owner that was very elderly and she was not able to care for me any longer so here I am, on the hunt for my new forever home!   I am friendly with other dogs that won’t be up in my face, I’m not a fan of things right in my face.  A guy needs his space!  I am unbothered by cats, they do their thing and I do mine.  I am accustomed to a calm, quiet house.  So, when things get loud and chaotic, I tend to get scared.   I have not been around little kids, but I don’t think they would be a great fit for me.  They can be loud and wild.  I much prefer relaxing, snuggling up with a good book or catching a classic movie.     I am housebroke and crate trained.  I spent the biggest part of my days in a crate previously, so I’m enjoying the freedom of not having to stay in a crate at my foster home.  I don’t mind being in my crate, but much prefer to be with my people!   If you think you have the perfect home for me: a calm household, willing to give me a bit of time to settle into new surroundings, and lots of pets - we should meet! If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. William’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
Mags (Maggie) is a 5 month old, 13 pound, female Corgi looking for a very specific forever home! Maggie is a Queen and looking for her castle!  She has all the qualities of a pampered queen lifestyle!  She is beautiful!  She loves all the people, old and young alike!  She can be sassy and some say a little bossy! She has great house manners and likes to keep her area clean (potty trained).  She enjoys galivanting on her outdoor grounds and getting in some zoomie exercise - so a fenced yard is a must for this young girl . She happily walks on a leash and likes to greet her human neighbors and receive compliments and some pets!   Like all queens, they have a private side with some quirks. Maggie is not fond of other animals .  She does not wish to share anything with other animals - which includes her house, her yard, her toys, her food, etc. Now I’m sure you’re thinking, oh she’s just a puppy and can get over that . . . While that may be possible, that is not an option we want to explore.  We want Maggie to be successful and find happiness in a forever home that is perfectly matched for her!     She is sure to bring her humans all the love and smiles you could ever dream about! She provides silly antics all day long while entertaining herself with her toys and then settling in for some cuddles and play time with her people!     Do you have a castle needing a queen?   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
