TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Corgi Dachshund mix (we think) and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Found as a stray, we don’t know much about her past, but we do know she’s a friendly, social girl who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Quinn is also quite the talker—if you’re looking for a quiet companion, she may not be the best fit, but if you appreciate a dog with opinions, she’ll keep you entertained! Her history with kids and cats is unknown. If you’re ready for a lively, affectionate pup who will always keep the conversation going, come meet Quinn! Leorio (Leo) is a sweet dog. He can be good with other dogs but it takes him a few meetings to warm up. We adopted him through Puppyspot, we have all the relevant paperwork. He turns 3 in Feb. Our lifestyle does not properly line up with his needs. Leo would be best in a standalone home where he can get his energy out with lots of exercise and mental stimulation. He would benefit from living with another dog to help him adjust to his new home and be his companion. Leo does have issues with resource (mostly food) guarding/aggression, as well as anxiety & high reactivity. He is very playful and has a silly personality. He is extremely intelligent and picks up on commands/tricks very easily. He has gone through 3 levels of 6 week training classes at Petsmart. If you are adopting Leo from CT we will be able to transfer the access to his personal home trainer we got from Camelot Dog Training ($3000 value, active for the life of the dog)

There is no medicine or daily care that he will need. This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. He looks like a Corgi Mix and he is long haired, I just do not know. He is 4 years old and weighs 22 pounds. DANNY loves to hang out with me and lay on me and he growls or moans while he is doing it, I guess it is pleasing to him. He was rescued from a not so good situation. He was with his deceased owner for 2 weeks before relatives showed up and found them together. The relatives put him in the yard and just forgot about him, never coming back to make sure he was okay or anything. The neighbors fed and watered him another week until the relatives relinquished him. The neighbors brought him to me and he has been settling in. He gets along with the other dogs but really has no interest in playing with any of them, he just wants to hang out with me. Follows me all over the house. He does play with toys and loves his chew bones. He can be trusted in the home while and I am gone on errands and he is potty trained. He puts himself in the crate sometimes to get away from the other dogs but he does not like me to lock him in. He rides in the car well and walks on the leash without pulling.
