Archie and Mabel were very loved their entire lives, but sadly the owner passed away. They were scared and sad the day they ended up in a shelter, but we took these senior darlings in and the foster family fell in love instantly. They need a home like the foster, one who understand and adores senior babies who have so much love to give but also need extra TLC as they continue to age. We will not separate them. They are totally bonded. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and we`ve had their teeth cleaned too. All they need is a loving retirement home and plenty of snuggles. Archie is housetrained. Mabel does best in a diaper but it`s no big deal. She doesn`t mind. You can take it off and she will potty outside too. Archie is a Peke mix, age 12, 13 lb. Mabel is the black/white Terrier angel, age13, and 15 lb.

Hello, my name is Dorothy!My adoption fee of $450 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Say “Hello” to Romeo, a handsome 2-year-old Pekingese mix! Romeo is truly one of the happiest little guys you’ll ever meet—his tail is always wagging, and there's always a smile on his adorable, smooshy face. He adores people and other dogs alike, making friends wherever he goes. Romeo rides beautifully in the car, often sitting like a gentleman with his front legs crossed. He’s a big fan of plush toys and is quickly catching on to crate and house training. He walks well on leash and is learning his leash manners a little more each day. Romeo is about 12 pounds, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Romeo is best suited for a home with a structural fenced-in yard and is not well suited for an apartment or townhome setting. At this time, we are only accepting adoption applications from the Greater Charlotte, NC area and a few immediate surrounding counties.
