Story
This friend has just arrived to us as a stray. When animals are found as strays, our staff will search for an owner. If no one comes to reclaim the pet, we will begin looking for a new home. Unfortunately, we rarely have a background on stray animals. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with other animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Wonton’s a 3yo 8lb Pekingese mix. He’s dog and kid 12+ friendly. He’s house and pee pad trained. He’s great in a secure fenced in yard. He’s very sweet, cuddly and affectionate with people and other friendly dogs. He tends to prefer not to want to be picked up but will find his way to cuddle next to his people, lay in their arms and on them so needs to be allowed on furniture to get to his people. Wonton’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard along with being allowed on the furniture to cuddle with his people and sleep in bed with them. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Wonton’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Bensalem, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
