Emails are answered in a timely fashion. Please check your spam if you do not receive a response. She will NOT be at our adoption events. Please email to arrange a convenient time to meet Annie. No unfenced pool Annie was born in approximately 2013. She is a very sweet, affectionate dog who gets along with all other dogs. She is mostly potty trained with the occasional accident. Annie is currently about 14.5 pounds. Annie has a left Atrium leaky valve and an enlarged heart, which has been managed well with medication. She will need to remain on this medication for the rest of her life and have regular follow-up visits with a cardiologist to monitor her progress. Annie was rescued from the shelter. Her owner had moved and left her with friends who did not want her so they passed her along to someone else, who also didn’t want her and they left her outside, so they didn’t have to deal with her. Annie was good at escaping from their yard and would often be found wandering the neighborhood. She was finally picked up by Animal Control and brought to the shelter. Owners were contacted and relinquished Annie to the shelter.

JENNY--Help needed JENNY is in need of sponsorship in our sponsorship program to pay for the remainder of her extensive veterinary costs. We are raising funds for all of her diagnostic procedures--Xrays, Ultrasounds, CBC, Urinalysis--for her extensive dental work, and extraction and suturing of six very bad removed teeth, and for her bladder stone removal surgery, JENNY is a Maltipoo, a Maltese/Poodle cross. Jenny is 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a cream and white color, and she is also hypoallergenic! JENNY is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is housetrained, sweet, gentle, playful, loving, affectionate, a lot of fun to be with, and not destructive. Dogs like JENNY also require regular ongoing grooming maintenance to prevent dangerous matts and tangles in the fur which can cause serious skin damage. Story
BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso/Maltipoo, who is 7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit does bite people. His main flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a bite out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and we are searching for an understanding and patient new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be.
