UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 This sweet girl is Macy. She came to us from a local shelter. She’s an adorable 1 year old Pekingese mix. She is 8 lbs. Macy is a very timid girl and needs a special home that will give her the patience she needs to adjust and get comfortable in a new situation. Macy is a total lap baby and very sweet once she gets to know you. She does spook easy and will need a home that understands this. She needs an older more quiet home. We do not think a home with children would be a good fit. She is great with other animals and does well in the house. She is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels), spayed and ready for her forever home!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! UPDATE!! Handsome Leo is a sweet Pekingese boy who was sadly dumped at a local overcrowded shelter. Leo is around 8 years old and 18 lbs. He is missing one eye and sadly has a terrible eye ulcer (we are now treating) that has left him with limited vision. They truly don’t get any sweet than this boy. He’s great with all people and animals. Does well in the house, crate and car. He walks on a leash and is a wonderful companion. He would love a calmer household to lounge around and get the royal treatment he deserves. He is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
