Story
Sandy is the sweetest, snuggliest of them all. She loves relaxing days, neighborhood walks, and stretching her legs on the sofa for movie night. She loves to be wrapped up like a burrito in a blanket. She’s a low-maintenance companion who is happiest when with her people. She does well when boarded or with caregivers when her humans are out of town and is friendly with other dogs and people. She is housetrained. Sandy will bark when left alone, so she would do best with someone at home during the day. Keep this in mind if you live in an apartment setting because you don’t want to irritate your neighbors. Sandy is not destructive and doesn’t have accidents when left alone, but she will bark and howl. When someone is with her, she is very quiet, a gentle soul who loves snuggling. Sandy is currently on medication to help reduce her anxiety related to being left alone, but she needs an owner who is patient and understands she needs time to learn that being alone is okay.

Chico is a lively, affectionate companion who is always up for a game of fetch or a hunt for elusive grasshoppers. His boundless enthusiasm and playful spirit will keep you entertained and your heart full. Chico thrives on attention and love. He's always eager to snuggle up after a day of play or curl up beside you for a cozy evening. His bright eyes and wagging tail are sure to bring a smile to your face every day. Chico is potty trained but there may be an adjustment period going in to a new environment. He is a total foodie and loves sharing snacks with you! He coexists with other dogs of all sizes but prefers dogs similar in size with a laid back demeanor like his. He is the perfect size at 17 lbs with long skinny legs! Chico is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip and neuter. Chico came to rescue heartworm positive and he has been through treatment for them. He is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
