Spike is in search for his forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Spike, AKA His Royal Spiciness, is our special little man! He's got pzazz and spunk even though he's a senior boy. He desperately wants your affection but will sometimes reward that affection with a nip on the hand because he's decided, in his Chihuahua energy, that he doesn't want to be touched anymore. Don't worry though - he has 3.5 teeth so you don't really feel it. He loves to cuddle, but again - don't let him sleep next to you because if you DARE to MOVE he will be shooketh at the thought that a human would even think to disturb him and will snap. How else will he earn his title of 'His Royal Spiciness'? All this to say... he has a loyal fanbase of fosters who love his personality and ease of leaving him alone so the spiciness grows on you. If you're looking for a dog that will add spice to your life, Spike is your man. Check out Spike's video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYsD1bKn42Y ATTRIBUTES: Spike does well in foster with other dogs that respect his personal boundaries and gives him space. Story
Luna is approximately 7 years old. She loves to snuggle and is happy to greet new people. She gets along well with all dogs but she doesn’t like cats. She has been around children and is great with them. She does bark at squirrels, birds, and cars but she loves hopping in the car. She needs a home with a backyard where she can run and potty. Our current home doesn’t have a fenced in yard and so she will have accidents in the house. She is not bonded with Bella, but Bella is bonded to her so separating them is not ideal. Bella is Luna’s 5 year old daughter. Bella is overweight and is approximately 35 lbs. The girl likes food. She is a shy dog but once she is familiar with people will warm up to them. Since moving to this house she has frequently been having accidents in the house. Prior to moving she had very few. She does ok with other dogs but can be scared. She can be an escape artist if the door is open. She just needs more attention than we can offerPlease they need to go together.
