Story
Age:   approx 3 years old   Weight: 19  lbs My adoption fee is $ 499  which includes transportation charges to the Northeast.      Macy was surrendered by an elderly woman.  Macy is very active and would need a fenced yard and preferably a playmate.  She is very friendly and always ready for a good time, like playing with other dogs or going for a walk.   Macy has made the long trip from Texas to Rhode Island and is ready for her forever home!   This girl is a mixed breed who is approximately three years old and she weighs about 22 pounds.  She has a lush tan and white coat with the brownest of eyes and white lashes to top it all off!  She is super cute.   Macy has a bit of energy and will need some activity before she plants herself on the dog bed (or maybe the couch, please??).  Perhaps a fenced yard and a dog friend for this girly?  She is a pro at leash walking and could help her adopter get in some steps.  Plus, Macy is a wonderful car traveler and would love to be a go-along-for-the-ride sort of pet.   Macy is social with other dogs and never meets a stranger.  She is not meant for a home with cats, however   If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/February 1, 2025, 4:49 pm

Story
Age:   approx 2 years old   Weight: 28  lbs My adoption fee is $475   which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. Dukesy is an indoor boy that was being left outdoors by his last owner, so up and over the fence he would go to find his own friends. Unfortunately his current owners weren't home enough to keep him and opted to surrender him. In foster we have learned that Dukesy is crate trained and housetrained. He is off with any dog he plays with. He runs up with a stout meet and play and off they go ! We have also learned that he LOVES bunnies. Typical of his breed mix of Jack Russell/Beagle. He LOVES traveling, LOVES people and LOVES living life ! He is a best friend and confidant. He's a right hand buddy for sure. This one eyed bandit is ready for his forever home. (We do not know how he lost his eye but it was surgically removed).   If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/December 29, 2024, 6:17 pm
