Story
**Courtesy Post** Sammy is a beautiful boy with a lot of energy. He’s six and a half years of age and in the prime of his life. He loves to run and play in the yard and get after varmints. Even though he loves to snuggle and loves love, he is not a couch potato. His owner needs to be energetic as well. Walking, jogging, throwing the ball, playing tug of war, running errands, biking, playing with toys, etc. Also, his new owner hopefully will work from home at least part of the day and not be gone all the time. Sammy needs a securely fenced yard. He will be glad to get rid of all the varmints out there. Sammy requires a home with no kiddos, no cats and female dogs only. If you are interested please contact Sammy’s owner at evairene328@gmail.com and they will send you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee. His adopter needs to be able to drive to the Davenport, Iowa area to get him.

Meet Suki! She’s about 4 years old, weighs 14 pounds and looks like a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix. She was found stray, and she’s still skittish at the rescue. She’s coming out of her shell and getting more social with people she knows, and we’ll update as we get to know her more!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
