Bio: You may recognize 4 year old Halen from her rescue debut, about 2.5 years ago. She recently made her way back to rescue due to her family’s life changes. No one is at fault in this situation, and we are ready to help Halen find her forever home! Halen may take a wee bit of time to get comfortable, but after she settles in she’ll make fast friends with your resident dogs. She LOVES to walk! Halen does well in the car, though super loud outings are not her speed. She will sing the song of her people when guests come over, but sees her doggy friends welcoming them, and calms down over time to offer kisses and lap warming services. Halen is crate trained, though she will protest a bit upon entry. She weighs just 12 pounds, and won’t take up much room while joining you on the couch or in bed. She really enjoys exploring the yard, and has been known to plop down on the porch on nice days. She may rock a toy by herself, and has a bit of a prey drive- and should not live with animals of the smaller variety. Kids are a okay in her book, bonus points if she gets to snuggle with them at night.
