Story
Are you in search of the perfectly sized and polite lap pooch? Look no further! Gizmo was most likely dumped, having been found on Hwy 29, in Liberty Hill, with another who looked exactly like him. Sadly, his friend was hit by a car before anyone could catch them, and didn’t make it. :( Gizmo however has a chance at a new “leash” on life! He’s around 2-3 years old, about 16 lbs., and is now neutered, chipped, and UTD on required vaccines. He has been with us since the start of October, so we know him well now. • House trained. • Crate trained. • Gets along well with his smaller foster dog siblings. • Not as much a fan of bigger dogs so no home with big dogs. • Gets along with kids (8 and up please) • Loves to be by your side at all times (truly a Velcro dog!) • Sleeps curled up with you in bed (preferably under the sheets). • Likes going for walks. Still learning a leash, however. • Greets you like a Queen or King when you come home. • His desired nap spot is the back of the couch. • Securely fenced yard a must. • Unsure of his reaction with cats. Gizmo is currently located in Liberty Hill, TX. We will do a home visit and a meet and greet for qualified applicants! There is a $250 adoption fee, which helps cover some, but not all, of the costs incurred to care for Gizmo thus far, and also goes to help others dogs in need. (We are a non-profit….100% of funds go to care for animals in need).
