Pepper loooves to play fetch with small balls & toys. She gets along famously with our big dog. She loves walks and meeting new people. She hasn't had a problem with other dogs on walks, even if they are barking. She does bark at cats. She is very smart & learning new things every week. She is great with the doggy door (although she occasionally still potties in the house). She sits & waits for food until someone tells her "take it". She kennels & sits on command. She has a lot of puppy energy & needs a lot of exercise but she also loves to snuggle and is so sweet. Meet Tessa!!!She’s looking for her forever home! This long hair chi mix sweet girl is a year old and 13 pounds! She was found as a stray but has been in a foster home and has done well !! Her only flaw is that she’s very playful so she needs a home with other dogs that like to play  and don’t mind her playful demeanor! She is working on her house training, sleeps great in a crate! Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
