WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org LilCow - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is LilCow and I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can say will be all mine! And I'm really hoping since you're reading this, you are considering adding ME to be part of yours!! I am about 4 years old and come in at around 14lbs. I'm a tad bit shy at first meet but it doesn't take me long to open up and show my true sweet disposition. I would do better in a home with older kiddos that can understand to go slow and give me some space if I should need it. Once I feel comfortable I do great with people and love to be held and really enjoy cuddle time. I do great with the other pups here at my foster home also. Although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. I am housetrained already, making it easy for us to get right to the fun stuff...right away. I'd love to share all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I would love going for strolls, hiking those milder nature trails or helping supervise yardwork! If you're ready for lots of love and affection, I is that fella for you! All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org

These pups are in Cincinnati, Ohio too!

Story
Meet Tito! Tito is a shy seven year old male King Charles Cavalier who weighs 16 pounds. Tito recently came into rescue after being used for breeding at a puppy mill, hence his shyness. Humans have let him down, so he needs a patient forever family who can work on building his trust and showing him how good life can be! That being said, Tito loves to eat and gets excited about treats, so we think that earning his trust won't take very long. An interested adopter will have to have patience and determination to guide Tito to a place of trust. Tito will sit on the couch with his foster mom, but won't come willingly just yet. However, with time and patience, we know this cutie will come out of his shell! Tito’s favorite activity is to roam the yard with his foster siblings-- all six of them (including the ones over 100 pounds)! He loves other dogs, and we think an adoptive family who already has a dog or two would help him to build his confidence. He has been introduced to children who respect his need for patience, and has done well with them. Tito seems to be housebroken as long as he is let out every few hours, and has not had an accident in his foster home. He likes to hang out in his crate and sleeps over night with no issue. Having the patience to acclimate Tito into a trusting soul will be a delight when you see how he will eventually respond to love. If you are interested in meeting Tito, apply today! Tito is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $450. Tito is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Josie!   Josie is a 5.5-year-old Cavalier who weighs about 20 lbs.  In her previous life, Josie was a mother in a puppy mill. While many dogs from such backgrounds tend to be very nervous, Josie is an exception. Though she may be a bit shy at first, she has wholeheartedly embraced life in her foster home. She happily follows her people around, tail wagging, and adores children who offer her gentle pets. Josie is crate trained and has never had an accident while in her crate during the day when her foster family is away. She may whine for a few minutes at first, but she quickly settles in and drifts off to sleep. Josie has never had toys before so she's not quite sure what to do with them, but she does seem to like cuddling with a stuffed animal. Her favorite thing is her doggy bed. She will go wherever you want in the house as long as there is a comfy place for her to recognize as her own.  Josie has been working on her housetraining and has made tremendous progress as she has been adjusting to a new routine. Consistency will be key to her success. She is still learning to walk on leash. No doubt she'll figure that out quickly with some gentle encouragement.   Josie is fostered in the Cincinnati area. If she sounds like a good fit for your home, apply today. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Meet Jovie! Jovie is a 5-year-old, 15lb Cavapoo who loves walks and being close to her people. Despite her difficult past as a former mill mom, Jovie is eager to take on a life of adventure as someone's loyal and loving best friend. Jovie quickly warms up to new friends, and once she does - she loves big! She loves snuggling and prefers to be around others. That being said, Jovie does have some separation anxiety and will whine if her favorite people are gone for too long. When looking for a home that is best for Jovie, company from another social dog or a family with a flexible work schedule is important! She would also benefit from having a fenced in yard and a family who can take her on daily walks. Jovie is making great strides in potty and leash training. She mostly goes to the bathroom outside on her morning and afternoon walks. She will sit by the door if she needs to go out and seldomly uses puppy pads when home alone. I’m very optimistic that with time, patience and the right environment she will thrive! If you're looking for a loving and loyal adventure buddy, Jovie might be your perfect match. Apply online today to start the adoption process! Jovie is being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio, ready to meet her forever family. Her adoption fee is $450.00.
