Story
Pookie is a charming 4-year-old Papillon-Chihuahua mix looking for a forever home. At 13lbs, this little guy has spent his life with one family and due to no fault of his own, they had to give him up. Pookie is still adjusting to his new surroundings but has taken it all in stride. He’s very sweet and willing to take on new adventures, and absolutely loves being with his human.  Pookie is a bit cautious around men and may need a little extra patience to build trust, but when he warms up, he becomes the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. He adores long walks where he can strut his stuff and explore, and he’ll happily follow you around the house like your tiniest, most devoted shadow.  If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky little sidekick, Pookie might just be your perfect match! If you are interested in adopting POOKIE, please submit an application on the webstie below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
