Story
Ace was born about December 2023 and should top out about 20-25 lbs.  He sure does look like a Papillon, but oversized so trying to squint and pick a second breed we came up with possible Border Collie.  He is a really great guy who is fantastic with all the other dogs and he surely does need another fun, playmate, in his next home!  He is busy and SO happy!!  He hardly barks and is crate trained, housetrained, friendly to all, and listens.  Ace was very good in the car.  We love his fancy tail!  We have found a negative with Ace and that is that he is very food motivated which involves taking food not offered him such as on your plate....  So, no little kids in his next home.  We are working on this behavior but his next home needs to be aware.  Ace is extremely snuggly when the play is done and enjoys a nice shoulder perch.  We've also found that he enjoys water and particularly floating around with his humans!  Oh, one more thing - at his current foster home there is celery growing in pots and he's helping himself to a little snack now and then which is super cute!!!The Adoption Fee for this dog is $__550.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. Lilli-pup So what? Yah, I was named after a Pokmon but, really I don't fit it's personality. Although, I am intelligent and courageous, and capable of judging my opponent's strengths, I have not and never will intend to hurt anyone. I MAY be very vocal when playing with friends and love ones, but it is all in fun. :) Cats are a different story, I will challenge them, but they always win. I hope to someday to become friends with one and have a partnership and be able to teach each other strategies to get extra treats. Down time is my favorite, I love belly and ear scratches and giving kisses. But don't get too comfortable! I am a youngster and playtime is my fAVORITE time!! I am looking for an active family that will love my personality and get a kick out of it and love on me as much as possible. Crate trained Potty trained thru doggie door- still learning! Cat friendly Needs more work on leash time :) A little scared in a car but if you see me hanging out in the backseat, you will think I am a natural!! ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!!!!!!!! Local adoption fee is $450 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750 (includes transport to your area)
