Story
***Please read Griffin's complete bio, as we have been getting a lot of applications which do not meet his requirements in any way: Meet Griffin. He's a frisky and fun three year old Chinese Crested who came to us as an owner surrender. He's loving life in his foster home as he waits to find a family of his own. Griffin is very puppy-like in terms of his temperament! He's playful and energetic and loves his toys. Griffin is great with other dogs. He needs to have another small playful dog like himself in his foster home, as he loves to wrestle and play all day long. He loves to eat, and even with a slow feeder dish he's the first one finished and then tries to help himself to others' food! It takes him a while to warm up to a new face as he is very shy, but once he does, he becomes a Velcro dog who stays close to his person and would not be happy in a "no dogs on the furniture" type of household. Griffin is a lapdog and loves to cuddle. He also takes his job as watchdog very seriously and he loves to exercise his freedom of speech whenever someone comes to the door or walks by the house, so he's not a candidate for apartment living. He's also super fast and can never be allowed off leash. A securely fenced yard is required to keep him safe, and would make him happy, as he loves to run zoomies like the wind! He's a smart boy who learns quickly, and is doing fantastic with leash training and house training. He has no health issues that we know of and he certainly has plenty of energy. Griffin would be happiest in an adult only home with people that are around a lot of the time and who could continue his training, show him patience and kindness until he settles in, and appreciate this silly, quirky, boy and how special he is. He recently moved to a different foster home when his other foster parents went on an extended vacation and settled in quickly. He has a blast with the other Crested in the home, playing and cuddling all day long. They also love running in the fenced yard, so both another dog and fenced yard are required in his forever home. If you think this fun little guy might be perfect for you and vice versa, please submit an application. (Griffin is being fostered in New England)

Story
Introducing Lily and Zeplin, a charming bonded pair of 9 year old Cresteds. Lily is the powderpuff girl and Zeplin is the hairless boy. They came to our rescue after a good Samaratin found them running loose down the middle of the road. She was able to locate the owner, who said the dogs were always escaping from the yard and she didn't want them anymore. So here they are, safe and sound! They absolutely MUST be adopted as a pair. We will not split them up, so don't ask. Zeplin is quite timid. He spent the first 3 weeks at his foster home on a chair under a blanket. He is slowly starting to come out of his shell and loves going outside with his person, while Lily prefers to follow you absolutely everywhere. She is the more outgoing of the two and is Zeplin's security blanket. When he had a vet appointment and she stayed home, they both got extremely upset and screamed to let us know they were not happy being apart! They both ride nicely in the car. They require a fenced yard, as they were used to running off at their former home, so they need a fence to be kept secure. Zeplin is housetrained, while Lily is still working on that skill, which will be an ongoing process. They are looking for a quiet, patient home that understands they will take a while to open up and blossom. They need a home without young kids, where someone is home a lot of the time. They are looking forward to finally being a treasured part of someone's life. (Lily & Zeplin are being fostered in northeastern Ohio)

Story
Hi everybody! I'm Emmy. Well, my name was Ambrosia when I came to the rescue, but my foster mom calls me Emmy and I like that a lot! I am just one year old, and I am full of pure puppy energy! If you are looking for a couch potato, that's not me! I love to play with other dogs, even when they don't want to play with me. I'm in the same foster home as Charm, and I LOVE her! She plays with me all the time. We love to wrestle (psst...we can be adopted together to give you a ready-made puppy family! I would love to stay with my foster sister forever! That's her with me in the picture) and play all day long. I definitely need a little playful dog buddy in my forever home either way. I would love a fenced yard to run around in, but it's not required, as I get lots of energy out running around the house, too. I love playing with toys and will steal things to play with, such as socks or my foster sister's pajamas. Once I finally tire myself out, then I love to cuddle with my foster mom. I am working on my house-training and foster mom says I am a work in progress. I have improved a lot, but I need to be given the opportunity to go outside frequently and still sometimes have an accident, so I need a home where someone is around more often than not. I'm also working on my leash manners. I'm much better than I was, but still working on figuring that darn thing out! I enjoy car rides with my pack but it upsets my tummy. My foster mom says I am curious, confident and silly and that you better be prepared for my puppy antics! I have not been tested with cats, but chances are good that I would try really hard to play with them, so depending on the cat, it might not be a good match. Due to my small size, only older, respectful kids will be considered. If you are looking for a sweet, happy, outgoing little girl, please put in an application today (and maybe consider Charm too??) (Emmy is being fostered in New England)
