Story
Rocket is 7 years old & is in need of a new home due to no fault of his own. He is great with kids, all people, cats and some dogs. He needs regular haircuts as he doesn't shed. He lives with older kids and is okay although younger kids make him nervous. He is probably best in a home with kids that understand he is not a toy. He needs someone that wants a constant companion. He doesn't like to be alone. He is a very social dog. Very good on a leash and absolutely loves to walk the neighborhood. He is food motivated and has to be on a low calorie diet or he will pack on the pounds. (He is small but he doesn't know it! He's only 20lb or so but he thinks he is big) He is crate trained although he really loves to be on the couch or bed snuggled up next to you. Only rehoming because he is not getting along with my other dog and his safety is of concern. Please reach out if you would like to meet him! He would love to meet you & chat about his day - he's a character!
