Despite suffering significant neglect before arriving at the shelter, including untreated skin issues and a healed fracture in her right femur that left her with poor alignment, Fern’s spirit remains bright and loving. She is incredibly social and playful, enjoying the company of people of all ages and polite dogs. Fern is anxious by nature, so she’ll thrive in a patient, understanding home that can provide reassurance and stability. Meet handsome Darnold! Darnold is a 3 year old golden retriever, looking for a fresh start and a championship run! Darnold came into the rescue as an owner surrender with Mama Blue. He is being brought in from a rough past that held him back from all that beautiful golden potential... he needs a new team behind him - his forever family. If you are ready to give your heart and get a golden life in return, and the ability to offer a soft place to land, he needs you now. Because loyalty like this shouldn’t get passed over. Darnold still has A LOT off puppy playful energy and will require his family can keep up with his pace! He has not been tested with kids or cats, but gets along well with dogs that don't mind his energy level. We would place him in a home with children 10 and up. Darnold will be adopted to a home with a secure yard for safe playtimes. He is neutered, Microchipped and vaccinated included in his adoption donation.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Frank Sinatra from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 2 year, 8 months old male Golden Retriever - Samoyed mix.  I am approximately 57 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, and friendly.  l was saved from the Korean dog meat farm where I was due to be slaughtered.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs as they were taken away.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age.
