Story
Blue—14+ Kid by Kid (Slow Intro), Dog by Dog (Multiple Meets)Peak is a typical young lab mix with a whole lot of energy. He is wary of strangers, but when with a confident handler whom he`s familiar with, he seems to warm up quickly--he will just need a little time for you to approach if he seems uncertain. He has a good start on his basic commands. Once he gains confidence there will be no stopping him.For more resources to help with at any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDTBureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617

Story
Blue—14+ Kid by Kid, Dog by DogTimothy has really come out of his shell and we are seeing some of his true personality traits—he was very rambunctious and jumpy. Coming out of his kennel he has started to get pushy and he has sped up his pace to try and get out. He was jumpy when trying to suitcase right after getting out, we let him get some energy out prior to doing so. His leash manners have improved but he occasionally will still panic when he feels pressure around his neck from the collar/leash. He liked being petted but did not like his head rubbed and pulled away when we played with his toes. Handling excited him a good bit. He played nicely with the toys, but it got him pretty amped up with people-play; he jumped up more and got pushy with his paws. He enjoyed the plush toys the most. He doesn’t know any kind of cues but will come to you with coaxing. He redirects nicely unless he is wound up; he will stop and start again. When petting while eating Timothy froze at first but continued eating when he realized we were just petting. While the handler made their way down to the bowl he kept eating without worry. When it comes to new people he can be reserved at first about investigating the human, but he has started to warm up faster than previously seen. He was initially fearful of the stranger’s wheelchair but upon introduction and investigation he warmed up and relaxed. For more resources to help with at any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDTBureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617
