Story
KODA KAY is a stunning mini goldendoodle pup looking for a home. Koda is a 38 pound 8 month old puppy. She is a live wire, full of fun and brimming with exuberant puppy energy. Koda Kay is an absolute love who needs an ACTIVE home where she will get plenty of attention and lots of exercise. She needs a home with another playful dog who can match her in size and energy plus a physically-fenced yard suitable for running and romping. Koda Kay is a bouncy silly girl who needs an adopter who will provide strong leadership and will invest the time and energy needed to train her to become a well-behaved adult. Like all puppies Koda Kay needs to learn boundaries. Koda Kay is housebroken and crate trained. Her  lovely coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling fabulous. Her adopter should be prepared for that expense every 6-8 weeks. If you would like to meet Koda Kay, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.   All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Dolce! She is a very sweet high energy girl who loves to run. While she plays well with other dogs and enjoys going to the dog park, she does not like sharing her home with another dog and prefers to be to be the only one so she does not have to share the attention. She has done well with children ages 6+ years old. Dolce is very sweet and full of energy. Her breed is a high energy breed that loves to work and are eager to please. Plenty of enrichment such as puzzle and tough toys ( no rope toys. She will shred and eat them), as well as chew bones are a must to keep them entertained. Dolce knows how to sit, but will need consistent and ongoing training. She will also need leash training and would walk best with a harness or gentle leader, as she tends to pull. Dolce was house broken and crate trained when she came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. If you would like to meet Dolce, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all of our other adoptable pets.
